Excerpt: The room is beginning to lighten, and my eyes flutter open, but I can see that it is too early to get up, so I close them once more and try to remember the dream I was having. Something with rabbits, their white tails high in the air as they skitter left, then right, then left again and my tongue hangs from my mouth as I run after them.
